Assets under management of sustainable investment funds increased by nine percent to 171 billion euros in 2017. For 2018, the sustainable investment market is expected to grow by up to 30 percent. According to a survey by Candriam, New York Life Investment Management's (NYLIM) European multi-asset manager, more than 60 percent of financial distributors believe that sustainable investing adds value. More than 70 percent also expect interest in SRI funds to increase over the next decade. However, sales of sustainable funds are still hindered by missing knowledge and information, claims Candriam.
Therefore, Candriam launches the world's first free learning platform for sustainable investing. The platform aims to raise awareness of SRI in the financial community, educate participants and communicate knowledge. It is now online at https://academy.candriam.com. While the platform is particularly tailored to financial intermediaries, it is interesting for all market participants. Learning modules introducing SRI extensively include multimedia content, videos, reports, infographics, and survey results.
