Lombard Odier Investment Managers (“LOIM”) baut seine 1798-Alternatives-Plattform weiter aus und ernennt Alexis Maubourguet zum Manager seiner neuen unkorrelierten Absolute-Return-Strategie für institutionelle Kunden.
Die neue Strategie trägt den Namen 1798 ADAPT, was für Acyclical Diversifying Alpha via Parameters Trading steht. Ziel der Strategie ist es, strukturelle und zufällige Verwerfungen der Derivateparameter (Volatilität, Korrelation, Dividenden, etc.) über die verschiedenen Anlageklassen (Aktien, Devisen und Rohstoffe), zu profitieren. Die Strategie soll Anfang 2020 lanciert werden.
Alexis Maubourguet kommt von Argentière Capital, wo er als Volatilitäts-Portfoliomanager den Relative Value Opportunities Fonds aufgelegt und verwaltet hat. Davor war er Portfoliomanager des Global Emerging Markets and Macro Fonds bei BTG Pactual. Zudem war er Derivate-Händler auf der Verkaufsseite für JPMorgan und Deutsche Bank in New York und London. Maubourguet sitzt in Genf und berichtet and Jean-Pascal Porcherot, CEO der 1798-Alternatives-Plattform von LOIM.
