Dr. Maximilian Brauers wird, vorbehaltlich der Zustimmung durch die BaFin, per 1. Juli 2021 zum Geschäftsführer der Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH berufen. Brauers wird in seiner neuen Funktion im institutionellen Geschäft von Union Investment den Vertrieb der Immobiliengroßkunden für Deutschland und International leiten. Zuletzt war er bei der DWS Real Estate als Head of Client Relations Real Estate Deutschland tätig.
Der 41-jährige Brauers ist promovierter Wirtschaftswissenschaftler und begann seine Immobilienexpertise in seinen ersten Berufsstationen bei Jones Lang LaSalle und der UBS Real Estate KAG aufzubauen. Bevor er 2012 zur DWS wechselte, war er ab 2009 wissenschaftlicher Assistent am EBS Real Estate Management Institute. In dieser Zeit erhielt er mehrere akademische Auszeichnungen.

Die Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH ist eine Tochtergesellschaft der zur genossenschaftlichen FinanzGruppe gehörenden Union Asset Management Holding AG. Sie bündelt innerhalb der Union Investment Gruppe das Management und den Vertrieb von Offenen Immobilienfonds für institutionelle Kunden.
